Default Any experience with Graha Outboard?

My buddy is considering trying to purchase a little 6 hp outboard and stumbled on this website, and it looks a little fishy to me. I don't see an About Us page, or phone, etc.

Experience? Thoughts?

I found the About Us page...they're in Indonesia. I'd steer clear!

They are legit. I met the owner. He was 6 years old and chain smoked camels

I looked into Graha Outboards myself and don't think it's a legit company.

When something is too good to be true, there's always someone ready to believe it is true - they're the bread and butter of the scammers.

Seems legit. I mean, there's a Circle K right there, what could possible go wrong?

Jeez, what's wrong with you guys. Just because the seller is halfway around the world in some third world country and sells outboards that don't have a US warranty is no reason not to do business with them and save a hundred dollar bill. Suhendra has kids to feed.

Feed the children.

It’s good to see the “Indonesian outboard; good idea?” threads are popping more and more often. They must be doing good business. Pretty soon Trump is going to have to put a tariff on them because the prices are too low.

It’s disappointing that none of the people buying the Indonesian outboards have posted back to say how good their experience was. I guess they are too busy running their boat with all the money they saved? When lots of people tell me I’m an idiot but I go against their advice anyways, I like to come back later to brag about how wrong they were.

Get a Suzuki. They make the best small outboards. All the rest are just relabeled Tohatsus which choke on the tiniest piece of dirt,
