To my knowledge everyone that has taken a test ride either already had a deposit down and didn't pull it or cut a check when they got back to the dock. I have posted several videos of it running. There are several ride reports but not on THT. The boats coming in on trade are top of the line.

with all this information you need to make your own decision on the ride of the boat. Or like I said above go drive it. I am not into posting subjective comments. Pictures and facts are all I care to post so I won't comment on the ride.

So let me get this straight: you put money down on a concept, a piece of paper, but first hand reports, whether positive or negative, would not make you think anything, either happy or not so happy about your decision?

BS. Or I guess maybe not. This seems to be a day and age where people, once they make a decision, juts dig their heels in and defend it no matter what the outcome.

Anyway the way you've been responding now compared to before, is not giving me warm fuzzies about the way the boat rides in rougher water.

Link us to the ride reports my man. You've posted subjective/opinion comments throughout this thread so why stop now?

If I were JB or Cayo or whoever is in charge of this project I'd ask you to stop posting about it.

rumor at MIBS was the hull had an issue, so that is why nobody saw it, and that is what i was hinting at but not saying a few weeks ago. If it was near Miami during that weekend of the show, it makes ZERO sense it wouldnt have been seen. Just a rumor...but things seem to be supporting it, including your posts and lack of pictures. You would think a new builder would ask for a testimonial online if the sea trial was impressive.

Shit happens.....especially with new hulls. Learn from it and move on. It is a beautiful hull and seems to ride great in the videos shown.

I posted a picture of it at the mibs, in the water, right outside of where the police let you go into the marina or not.

I'm not buying one, I'm just saying I saw it on the water.

Sure didn't seem to have any issues when it blew past me leaving the Gasparilla invasion back in January. It was mooving in a good chop!

I haven't ridden on one though just an eyewitness observation.

When you say "hull had an issue" are you referring to something like delamination or a design flaw or not being completed and wanting to be shown?

Seems like the boat was running around Miami on Tuesday and Wednesday before the show.

Who knows. Maybe it coming to the east cost of Florida and trying to ride out to Fowey in some bigger chop than half footers shook some stuff lose.

I guess you can call it its official shake down run. Gotta run it hard and fast to make sure she holds together no matter how inexperienced the person behind the wheel is. Coming off a 3 footer at 40mph? She will pound but she better hold it together.

Hahahahaha! That washing machine called Tampa Bay with an east wind will beat the shit out of a boat way worse than the 3 foot swell you are talking about on the east coast................lol.

By the silence after MIBS is an indication that something is just not right. You don’t go from promoting the crap out of a new boat to nothing for no good reason. The FB, Instagram posts have come to a stand still as well.

Almost no swell south of Jupiter on the East cost of Florida. Protected by Bahamas...

The key word is almost. Every once in a while, by the grace of God, something slips through... Below is an 'almost', from a few weeks ago at South Beach.

To the OP - apologies for a slight derail of your thread, its just the end of a slow day in the middle of the week and THT is being...well...THT...

Ibe - Post a pic of your Lazzara. I bet a lot of guys on here don't know what that is

Let's wish the good folks at Cayo the very best with their very pretty Hybrid

South Beach, almost...

This is my Lazzara Trophy Hunter 28. According to Dick Lazzara it's 1 of 10 he built. 5 hulls went to Stuart Hatteras and 5 hulls went to Richard Bertram Yachts over on the east coast. Not the best pic but it's recent.

The demand for more and more and more info is unreasonable imo. They need to build some hulls now and we should leave them to it.
