I wrestled with a split outlet on my 12 gallon tank a couple of years ago, multiple flushing and pumping just doesn't get it all out so as they say, rubber up to prevent disease.

I once had a GF whose Dad engineered waste treatment plants..

“ It may be S**t to some people but it is bread and butter to me”

He did have a Grand Jury problem later in life... Never convicted though..

Is it true that plumbers wear green tinted glasses so the turds will look like pickles?

It may be sh1t to some people, but it smells like money to those of us in the business. Almost recession proof ☺

Went to take the last boat out for a trip. Unzipped the canvas and got hit with "that smell". Ended up replacing about 30-40' of sanitation hoses through all kinds of spaces in the boat. Working in areas where you had to take a picture, then stick your arm in through an inspection while and try to wrk blindly... NOT fun!

"You dump it, we pump it." I've got an investment in a septic waste company... it is the sweet smell of money.

My experience with replacing sanitation hose has been that the flex PVC type starts to emit the odor before it accumulates that much scale. Did you notice an odor with that fouled rubber hose?
