Hey Fivec's, beautiful restore and repower. I have a 2005 26FS and am thinking about adding an anchor/windlass. Do you have any info or pictures on what you installed? I am particularly interested in how you reinforced the existing anchor locker hatch and the type/placement of the windlass. Thanks in advance for any information.

2018 update:
We splashed April 29th, quickly put 30 hours on her, fished the 2nd week of May and were off to the Bahamas for the rest of the month. We did a lot of cruising over the summer and fished about 5-7 more times. In August we took her south to head to Bimini for Labor Day weekend. I had just updated the fuel pumps and ECM's per Warranty/ recall and the dealer forgot to initialize them. I showed up at Harbortown Marina in Ft. Lauderdale and she wouldnt crank. I quickly found a shop , got her fixed and off we went the next morning. We had a blast in Bimini but got pushed out a day early by a tropical storm. On the way back we were in 25-30 kt wind but thankfully it was at our back. We were in 4 ft @ 4 sec said the apps but we certainly had a bunch of 6's in there. This is the first and only time we put one over the bow but thankfully it was only enough water to blast the curtain out of the track... it was rough. We barely used the boat this fall with the exception of 1 trip offshore but went back to Bimini for new years for a week. We got our asses beat there and back... The wind was 20kts on the nose, and we came outta the water 27 times (my wife "the counter") at 18-24 kts. On the way back it was almost the same.
Overall, we now have just under 350 hrs on her and have had her in some real shit, these boats are extremely well built badasses and she's proved herself already.
Pros: Ride, Flare, Zuke duo props (a must), cockpit space, large hardtop, large fish-box, windlass (a must)
Cons: lack of in-deck storage,
Jackplate: I love it, like, really love it! The only way to mount 350's is a bit too low with these older transoms and that ruins higher speeds, the jackplate makes it perfect. The fuel economy is better by 1/10mpg or more but the jackplate allows the boat to ride flat like it should instead of bow high. WOT: 47.8 kts Cruise: 33kts The effect of the Jackplate made it so the boat rides just as good at 47 kts as it does at 33kts and that at that cruise it makes it as efficient as it used to be at 31 kts.
Lemme know if you have any questions

Love the way you refinished her. So, I guess I’m trying to wrap my head around this jack plate. Is it 2 separate ones with a plate? Or what? Custom? Sorry if you already stated it, I may have missed it somewhere along the way. Who makes it? It’s freaking awesome. I think I am going to want the same thing.
