Default 41 Regulator vs 42 Hydrasport vs 42 Invincible

I am about to get a new boat.. I need a fishing and family boat between 40ft to 43ft long
I liked those three boats ..
what you think I appreciate your opinion and help.. even if you suggest another boat builder..
softness of the ride is very important for me as will place to rest with AC and small bathroom... thanks.

My guess is you are not going to get anyone that has been on all 3 but everyone is going to say all 3 are great. I would look at the comfort part of the equation, which I think Hydrasports is trying to specialize in.

Just go buy that 42 Invincible center cabin that's listed in the classifieds. Pretty much every possible option and absolutely beautiful.

For fishing/family blend, I don't think the Pursuit S 408 can be beat. Feel free to message or call me if you have any questions. If you're in S FL, I am happy to run you in one.

41' Jupiter express is a beautiful boat and a perfect combo for family and fishing! They also have the new 43' CC. IMO, the Jupiter is a bit better in fit and finish than the boats you mentioned.

If you're looking for a boat that has a smooth ride and a few comforts in a cabin, I'd definitely check out the Sea Vee 430FA

Don’t forget to look at Intrepid.

Also (don’t laugh) but the layout of the 42 Boston Whaler Outrage is awesome. Step foot on one before you buy. I prefer the set up to Yellowfins, Seavees and other top brands.

the problem with 42 Boston whaler the hardtop it goes all the way to the sides.. I don't like it when fishing or gigging.. but they are quality boats very will build..

I would like to add one thing which will hold a better resale value..

I thought the same thing but the user friendly layout makes up for it in other ways. It sounds crazy but I like that boat the best in the class. Worthy of a look.

It is a good decision you have to make. I am envious.

If you have a mind that is open to a Cat then go have a look at the Prowler 42 - beautiful, functional, safe and so wonderfully well built.

I like the Invincible and Regulator. Hydrasport not so much. The Invincible in For Sale thread is beautiful and the only reason I'm not out on it right now is that it's out of my budget range.

Don't think any of them will have a softer ride than the Reg. Fit and finish is top notch.

She is a very heavy girl though.

The Inv is badass and faster than the Reg.

Reg and Inv will have great resale.

I have no time on Invincible’s or HS’s but have had two Contenders and three Seavee’s and now a Regulator. I would gladly own any of the aforementioned brands in the future but nothing has ridden as well as my current Regulator. Good luck! Good problem to have!
