Default HydraSports Estrella 65 - Biggest Center Console in the World

Well, I figure this is as good of a first post as any...

HCB Center Console Yachts’ 6500 Estrella Projected Specifications
LOA: 65'
Beam: 16'
Dry Weight: 40,000 lb.
Transom Deadrise: 23 degrees
Max Horsepower: Unlimited
Available Power: Five Seven Marine 627 hp outboards
Fuel Capacity: 1,500 gal. (optional 1,800 gal.)
Price: Depending on a buyer’s custom requests. Starting in the $3 million range.

Just watched this video, defiantly not my style, but impressive nonetheless.

Pretty funny when he said cutting their molds out of foam using a CNC makes them unique. LOL

next they'll come up with a 75ft Cat

I guess I cant add a link until I get 10 posts , so here is the best I can do:

boatingmag dot com /worlds-largest-center-console

or just google search worlds largest center console

I also tried to attach still frames of the video, Hopefully it works...

That's not a CC. That's a bowrider with a cuddy. Yuge, though.

I don't understand how you would see from the helm. And 5 7's, ouch. If I was going to drop that kind of money I would get a custom Blackwell 57 designed exactly to my spec.

Meh. I’m a center console guy and like their reasonably sized models, but for me personally once I start getting to 40’ I’d be wanting a sport fish or express style boat. They have the bling factor though so there’s that. Makes sense why I think a lot of their 53’s are in the Middle East.

LPretty funny when he said cutting their molds out of foam using a CNC makes them unique. LOL
Actually, what he said was they cnc machined a full size mock up of the entire boat out of styrofoam. Sounds pretty unique to me.

You are right, I misunderstood when I watched the video earlier. Just read the article now, which made it abundantly more clear lol.

As someone who works with CAD/CAM there is a big difference between looking at something on the screen and having it in your hand, or in this case under your feet.

I was wondering the same. Could be a big hatch for a large forward boarding ladder.

These are sandbar machines, after all.

Wait - now that I think about it - how ridiculous is it going to be seeing a 65 footer pull up to a sandbar?

Looking at the shape, looks like space for the windlass in the rear and anchor stem coming up and in from the front, where it would then pass through the hull.

It's pretty deep though, maybe does house something like a bow ladder as well.

I have a hard time accepting the fact that something defined as a "center console" can incorporate a dining room table for TEN PEOPLE at the helm seat.

Awsome boat and you have to admire the technology that goes into the process to design and build. Something tells me that THT 'ers are not who they are marketing this boat to. Think mega yacht tender.
