Cool! Buddy of mine has a replica with a built 302. Blue with white stripes.

Careful with those pipes. They'll toast your calves.

Like a big fast go kart.

The only thing I've ever won was a record album from a radio station (cost me more to pick it up than it would have to go buy it.)

Congratulations; nice car.

Awesome. I had looked into building a Factory Five replica after I saw one in a parking lot somewhere... almost did it but decided to get into boating instead. As I recall they have a pretty big online community.

PS: For those that didn't notice - it's a replica - fiberglass body with a newish (? depends) mustang powertrain. However supposed to be a blast to drive as it only weighs half of what the mustang would, and seems like a fun project to build, tweak and/or maintain...

I hear that thing will do Zero to 100mph and back to Zero, while towing a 25 Grady, in just over 12 seconds!

Very nice! Hope you enjoy it.

Take care.

WAY COOL

FYI , the 427 AC record for 0 to 100mph and back to 0 was like 14.7sec.

My neighbor owns Factory Five Racing so I get to see and hear lots of the cars come and go down the street. Boy do they sound sweet! They apparently cant make them fast enough - seems to be a very well made product with good support from the factory with events and so on. The owner's also a boater with a twin engine go fast boat and sail boat-life is good...

Mumblerone-do you live lakeside on Lake Skaneateles? Wife has an uncle West Lake Road-just curious if you might know Dick Sheridan a local bluegrass musician with the Soda Ash Six Dixieland Jazz Band.

Thanks for the comments guys and Farmer Jane. Not sure about the 'Teal' paint however...I might paint the boat silver though. No comments. Right now it has the stock 302 CID Ford crate motor, bored 60 over. I should get the car this week...THEN jump through NYS DMV hoops for a couple weeks getting it inspected. I did just get the ROUSH motor catalog...hummm. Some nasty motors there. I'll drive it this way for a year; then start doing some mods. ufg8rmike...very nice!

THAT is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of MY all-time favorites, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I've ever seen but ONE "original" (427) on the road? ;?

Were the "originals" ALUMINUM bodies??? ;?

ENJOY - and hurry up and get that thing ON the road and AT "the local barbecue hangout"!!!!!!!!!!

VERY cool!

Hey, "ufg8rmike" - I'll "trade you" my Scout, Jeep Cherokee, NEW Honda Accord "SE", current wife, and some "interesting" pics of my EX-wife for that car??? ;?

Regards,

I have seen two on the road [ orig. ] in Orange Co. Calif.

1st one was on a foggy sunday morning 3 am , was in the wife's BM'r and the aint no sh!t an old man and his wife pull
up next to us and I think I got wet hearing those pipes.
Rolled the window down and ask how long he'd had it and he said since new .

There was only like 325 units produced so seeing one [ 427 ] is RARE.. I've been blessed.

2nd one looked like some dope dealer was happy. What a waste of a cool ride.
