The 2 rear corner rod holders are the large 30 deg and primarily used for my shorts while high speed wahoo trolling. Given the high amount of stress trolling around at 18knots dragging 4-5lb of in-line lead and big ass lures I added these backing plates made by Lindgren-Pitman. They work much much better than your standard backing plate for this extreme application. I also have them on my sword rodholders, but cut down some to fit under gunnel.
