Default allied boats

I've had a 20' Allied work boat for over 10years. Nice looking, well built ,and rugged. I have a 70 Suzuki 4 stroke on her and it tops out at 22knots. I'll have to admit that this boat is probably the roughest riding 20' boat I have ever been on. At 12knots it will handle anything you can throw at her --any faster she'll knock your teeth out and ruin your kidneys. This design was not

made for an outboard. Basically she a 31 JC shrunk down to 20'. Removed the keel and added a bit more shear. If a this boat was set up as an inboard will a full keel it would be the cats ass. I've been sneaking up on doing that with mine. Oh I forgot--If you don't run tabs on the 20' work model , you will never get over 16 knots---porpoising like crazy.
