Have looked at that boat a ton over the last year but yes a little big and unfortunately has inboards. Would also prefer twins

Flew down last year to look at that in person for a trade....won't make a trip again like that before I asked for more detailed pictures In advance. Love the layout though

Not sure of price and not "custom" but have you looked at a new albemarle 29'? O.A.L is 33'

Have looked into that one and had convos w the broker - very pretty boat but a bit short at 30 ft. As silly as it seems, this is the boat we're really hoping to have LONG term. Want to try and get it as perfect as possible, despite the fact we're very aware there is no 'perfect boat'. Their 32 express is beautiful but buyer is looking for almost 400k. The difference between a 32 and 30 is pretty decent

Would also even consider one of the custom refits with outboards, like the 31 bertrams...striking out so far

Or look at the 36' 2012 OBX Ryan has posted in the commercial classified section.
Looks like a steal (I am thinking of looking at it)

Thanks KR, I'll try and take a peak at that Shearwater.

We drove all the way down to NJ last month to look at that OBX, went as far as having jersey cape go over to look at the entirety of what we'd need done to have the boat work for us and unfortunately it was cost prohibitive. Ryan is awesome though, one of the most standup people in this business ive met

There's a pretty interesting 31 Bert restoration project on the RI Craigslist. Have you looked at that one for an outboard conversion?

I actually did see that the other day. We're happy to find something that needs work (engines, electronics, maybe paint) but thatd the extent we want to go to on the next one

I cant tell you guys how much I appreciate everyone's thoughts....it's not only helpful its therapeutic, haha

This is definitely the 'unicorn' only problem sadly is the price. Literally perfect for us though
