Default Silly little plumbing question re Marelon fitting

I'm trying to order the parts to install a washdown pump.

Everything points to 3/4" hose.

But the only "plastic" fittings that I see for below water line are Marelon. So I need a 1/2" npt to 3/4 barb. No such thing that I can find. Only 1/2" to 5/8". Is that the same thing?

If not, where to find what I need?

I thought Marelon thru-hulls and seacocks were all NPS threading...I could easily be wrong, however.
But, don't mix thread types, ever, without proper adapter.

Hmmm... Thank you Karl.

Can someone point me to a fitting that is 1/2-14NPT to 3/4" barbed ?? Preferably some type of plastic/nylon etc?
(I want to attach it to 3/4" hose)

It'd be cool if West Marine, but I'd accept it from anywhere.

I'm trying to attach it to "D" on the following pdf drawing:

I don't think you're gonna find one from 1/2" npt to 3/4" barbed because it's not common or useful to go up to a larger hose ID. You'll need an adapter to reduce the 3/4" npt barb to a 1/2" npt..

i just did a bronze set up , needed to go to a currently 5/8" hose. also no such thing.
I used a reducer bushing to go from 3/4 to 1/2 thread then a 1/2-5/8 barb

Thru-hull -> valve -> reducer coupling -> barb

As a second question, why not just put a larger thru-hull fitting in so you can go Thru-hull -> valve -> barb ?
