I did focus most of my attention on learning as much about the boat and running it, not necessarily taking pictures or video so don't expect anything extraordinary from them. I must say though that pictures do not do it any justice. It is totally different when you see it up close and in person. It's a BIG boat.
Looking forward to your feedback David.

Yes...but I don't want to be the one banned for derailing the thread.

The Invincible is super nice.

Careful...I don't think Mod7 is playing around.

This Invincible Cat is awesome.

I think it'll look sharp with antennas, radar dome or open array, full length outriggers, etc. Will heighten the boat and balance out what looks like a tall freeboard.

What is over all length and beam? Curious if size is comparable to freeman 42. Looks a little wider.

I ran the boat this morning. Wind was pumping, seas were solid 3' at 4-5 sec. perfect weather to test a new boat in. I am a full time captain who has a considerable amount of time running some very well set up top tier center consoles (Yellowfin, seahunter, seavee, freeman, fountain, hydra sport, invincible just to name a few..)

My thoughts on the 40 cat:

Boat is very well laid out and the fit and finish it on par with invincibles reputation. There are a few things that we will be changing.

Running attitude is as good as I thought it would be. Ran her hard in every sea direction and she preformed very well. Fuel economy is on par with the competition, your going to see .8-.9 at 40-45 with a real world load in her.

Live well set ups and fish box capacity are very important to me, they hit the nail on the head with this one. Bait wells are damn near perfect and fish boxes for days.

If anyone has any questions about this boat or any other cat boat just send me a PM.
Thx for report captain.....where did u run it? Any pics or videos?

My only problem with the invincible cat is that from the few pictures I have seen it seems very bland in design and lacks any lines that would make it identifiable. It just is very bubbly almost like a Boston whaler. At the end of the day it is about he ride but when someone drops 300k+ on a boat it needs to look good. Catermans have always been considered ugly but I feel like recently cat builders are staring to over come that, but invincible seemed to over look that element.

Definitely agree it doesn't have near as good of looks as the competitors, but time will tell. After they pump out a few with different ttop designs and colors I'll make my official determination.

Honestly in the other thread, somebody said it best.....looks like a SeaHunter.

Does that mean you are buying one?
I have been on it too, the console is off the 39 mono they said they are going to rework the one off the 42 mono for this boat, it's a bit wider and will get a bigger hardtop.

The boat is going to see some changes. And there are some things that will be options as in it has two monster fish boxes in the cockpit floor that they said they plan to be able to offer a smaller one that would add another large livewell.

it has more fish box room than anything I have been on, there are a total of 4 in the hull and you could fit a 200lb tuna in any off them with ease, I climbed in one and could lay down and I am 5.10.

Bottom line is it's going to be a hell of a fishing rig.

Any word on the status of hull #2? This is the one that is supposed to be fitted with quad Mercury Verado 350's vs. the quad Yamaha 300's on hull #1.

The liner was in as of Thursday. I can't recall if the cap had been installed yet. If not, I'm sure it won't be long.

Anyone seen any decent video yet? There was something on YouTube but it seems to have been removed.

Looks like a very nice layout, the lines of the hull don't look that great IMO & I've heard base price no options is $600K Maybe someone else can chime in?

LOL.. the boat industry is going to implode on itself again. Just wait but until then it makes sense for a $6k number. Lots of cheap money and market is doing good so lots of $ to spend. Get it while you can!

Default Invincible cat fished tournament

I just saw a new thread "invincible cat " with the invincible cat boat fishing the tournament , heard from a friend that was on the boat ,said she was running past everything in the fleet in 3 to 4 ft seas at 60 mph . Burning .7 mpg at 60 mph fully loaded with gear livewells ice and 4 guys ... sounds like they came up with a winner. I am still waiting for the merc test boat then I'll make my decision which way to go... it keeps looking better for a new 2018 sea wolff invincible cat build thread.. I was told to except delivery some time around march 2018, because of the amount of boats that have been sold....I leave for Mexico to fish with my friend Roberto Navarro at the end of august and by then the merc cat will ready for a test ride.
