My friend said he brought people out today for a sea trial in his and they were about to put a deposit down. I would imagine that the price will significantly increase if the wait times keep increasing.

Tommy,

I have been looking at rod holder placement a lot, and cant find much out there. Would you mind sharing your placements? I have a lot of questions so hear goes.
I was thinking 30 degrees in the back straight back then bumping out 15 degree rod holders in 15 degree increments down the side towards the front until you reach straight out.
Where does the swivels go?
Are swivels 0 degree rod holders?
Did you put any 0 degree rod holders that aren't swivels?

I'm a visual guy, so pictures and/or diagrams would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

30* Very rear each side straight back, then three more about 18" apart going up side to even with rear of console. So that's 4 each side 30* The swivel one each side for deep drop is operaters opinion. I like 15* and in between the last two in rear. You can sit on live well and still operate the deep drop reel while sitting.
Then I put three more up front each side, all 30*. Will try to post some pics for you.

I also put one between live wells 0* with cup holder built in it. Perfect for bait net handle or drink etc etc.

Also a few cup holders mixed in there. They work perfect for the deep drop lead weights while rigging and stuff. Keeps that lead off the floor rolling around.

So the second one from the back with the thicker rim is a swivel? And it's 15*?

Correct. 15* swivel, you can sit on live well and operate the electric feel. It's perfect my opinion

Leaning towards twin 10" Garmins and JL Audio system. Carlos recommended 2 - 8's up front, 2 - 8's in the lean post, 2 - 6.5's in the back and a sub in the center console. Not sure what size amp would be appropriate for that set up.

Not sure how loud you play your stereo but for the average person
JL 700/5 amp
4- 7.7's bow & leaning post
2- 10" subs

Then you can add either 2 more
7.7 or 6.5s in the t top and run them off your headunit.

If you really want a lot of bass.
600/6 amp for the mids and highs
1000 watt amp powering 4- 10" subs
Put the two additional subs in the bow wall. He will have to glass in the door that he normally installs there to access the rope.

I put two 10" jl subs on each side the anchor door up front. You do not have to glass it in. Then two 6x9s facing the floor up by the 10s
Also two 770s in t top facing forward
In console 880s on each side
Leaning pot two more 770s and two more 10" subs

Now i will tell you it is VERY loud up front. But the speakers in console and leaning post are not the best option at all. Your much better off addind a panel or something under the gunnels so speakers are facing in instead of out like mine. Think thats my only mistake

I think the JL MHD 900/5 is a better choice for an amplifier to run 4 mids on 100x4 in stereo. Then 500x1 in two ohms on two 4 ohm subs. Should be perfect set up. Then if your crazy as me just double everything and your on the upper end of most stereos out there.
