Default 25 sea vee deisel to outboard/s

So I aquired a 1996 25' Sea Vee with a 200 hp Volvo inboard , I did at first consider keeping the inboard as it was supposed to be in need of some minor repairs however but this was not the case. At that point I decided it was not worth the cost of repair and I like outboards better so the project begins.

This was the day I got her.

First of all doing something you love to do on a daily basis is hardly a waste of time. secondly I have two other boats and have done all the fishing I want to do over 2.5 years so don't you worry about my fishing time. If these projects bother you so much why do you look? nothing else to do? what a waste of time.

As I said I decided to remove the diesel, I would like to try an inboard someday but not this time that means everything comes out.

one of the tanks had a hole 3/4 of the way up and the other one would have been leaking soon.

Why not just drop a 350 GM marine
Crate motor in her for 10k and be done?

I have real world experience running both. As much as I love my OB SeaVee I would take my neighbors inboard over it any day. 350 FI, and like RedSeaCraft said, repower is so much cheaper
