Default 2017 Renaissance Prowler 31 Build thread

And so it begins...
As some of you may know, a few months ago, my wife and I made the decision to take a big step up and order a new custom built Renaissance Prowler 31. Working with Bill Rattlief, the owner has been an absolute pleasure and the build process has finally begun!
I can't wait. I'll be posting updates when I get them. Tentative delivery is March/ April next year
Console is finished, cap is finished, this should go relatively quickly with few surprises
What could possibly go wrong?

Inital build specs will be:
Two tone, sky blue/ white hull
Hard top, matching blue underside of top
Twin White Suzuki 300s
Aft swim platform and dive ladder
White powder coated aluminum
Bow cushions and combing pads
Hand rail under hard top/ with rear rod holders
Fresh water washdown
Electric windlass
2 x 12" Garmin displays
Garmin A/P with smart pump
U Flex hydraulic steering
XM Satelite radio
Recessed cockpit spreader lights
Underwater lights

Any and all input is appreciated

Congrat. The build is fun and it's great sharing it with anyone. I don't have a whole lot to add as you've got great taste and a very similar build to mine. I will say the roll control on the inside of the transom and speargun holders outside of transom have been pretty great for spearfishing on scuba. Don't know if you guys do any of that or not.

Twin Zukes? "EDIT" unless you are hanging outboards off the swim platform, I guess you are going with twins. :-)

Looking forward to your build!

Thanks, snorkeling, fishing and killing time in the Bahamas is our primary use. Great idea on the spear gun rack!

A couple more progress pics of the build so far. The team at Prowler has been working hard on some updates on the 31.It is a huge honor to be a part of the evolution of a great boat. I will post info as soon as I have been given the OK.

Cap, ready to come out of mold

Console, bagged, looking for a boat.

I got in line for a 31 in August, first coat of gelcoat was sprayed in the hull on 12/17, the console and cap were started prior to that at some point.

Awesome. And so it begins. What can you tell me about the cushions for the front? They will snap in place on top of the large box? Or did you change that up some?

Cushions in the front snap in place. 2 cushions / 8 snaps per cushion. They are a big hit for cruising days and I highly recommend them.

I had cushions on my previous boat and everyone would get mad if I didn't bring them! I may have to get some after I take possession of the new boat.

Just a warning. Those blue ring led push button switches are terrible for night running if located anywhere on the dash. The red are much better. Just a FYI. Sweet build!
