Congrats on your new boat. It is different but I am sure you will like the ride after running that boat for a full season.
You know I do have a Southport and ran it 200 hrs this past season including 7 trips offshore. You can call me anytime with any questions about Southport boats. I don't even need beers or striper trip.

finman, Congrats on the new ride. It's probably because of the wider beam coming from the Reg. Good Luck Beautiful boat

Congrats on the purchase, post some pictures. Any questions or advice on it let me know, I'd be happy to assist. I've added subwoofers to mine, electric reel outlets, LED's, rod holders so I know my way around a little on them now.

Finally Congrats. PM'ed the cell number. As was mentioned, two bars on the tabs in normal conditions and the boat will run better than your Regulator in my opinion.

Really Fin.. This is your first post on the new boat?? Sorry brother but no bitchin allowed. Moving from a Reg to a Southport- that's like dumping one smoking hot supermodel to date another even hotter supermodel.
Looking forward to the pics. Best of luck with her.

Congrats on the new boat! We run out of BI. Like stated on sloppy days trim the tabs a bit and you will be quite impressed.
