I bet there will be several top tier guys in offshore cat business before long. If I were boat builder, I would be building a couple of models. Big market for offshore cats, whether real or imaginary.

Agreed. One thing I've noticed about modern offshore CC cats is they have to have giant tall gunwales and that's not always easy to make sexy

I am willing to bet the fastest this thing ever went is as it sits in the grass.
The whole straight drive, steps, cat never worked in the old days. One of the reasons cats got a bad rap. (Besides looking fucgly).
I have never been a cat guy, but I have to admit the current builders certainly have taken care of certain myths about them. (They are still not pretty IMO).

Sooooo, where is this BarkCat?

$650k sounds about right
I'm going north of that at $900k +

Unless we are going with the closet to retail price without going over... then $1...

I won't be in the market for this till 2219 or so however, I think it's great for the guys who run distances to have some new better options in the big cat list of boats. Time will tell how well this does. Looking forward to pictures

1st, best of luck to Mr. Kevin Barker! It was an absolute pleasure to meet him at his 1st MIBS with the 26. I'll never forget being treated so well even though I was in no position to buy.

2nd, I wonder how long until builders like Rybovich, Bayliss, American, Spencer, etc. break into this market; if they even do. DISCLAIMER: yes, I know some builders (Jarret Bay, Winter, and a few others come to mind), but none of them have really broke into the CC market with a bang (subjective).
