Not a rumor, and was sort of the tipping point for me.

The rumor of a boat having a problem tipped you over? Guess u won't be buying a contender, invincible, sea vee, seahunter, intrepid, venture, bahama, fountain, yellowfin, Barker, or anything else either. Maybe boating isn't your thing.

Read all my post. It was a combination of things, the tipping point being your doctor friend's 42. You certainly know the one I am talking about. If not, let me refresh your memory, Freeman snuck it out of south Florida in the dark of the night and rushed it to SC.

You certainly know an awful lot about THT and the people on it to just have joined last month. What was your name before?

What happened to the boat? I know I won't get an answer, but someone had to ask.

So Freeman took care of it promptly? Sounds like they back their product. That's why I own one.

Freeman hid the problem promptly and initially denied it ever happen. They did back their product. They rushed overnight to back this 42 into a private storage facility so no one would see this massive failure.

It was not the 37, it was the 42. A 37 had a failure, as did another and that is why there is no trips on the 37's anymore. The 37 failures were mild cracks, this was much worst. And yes, it was quad mercs.

What was the issue with the 42 ? I heard Freeman will no longer do triples due to issue with mounting the middle engine.

Quit beating around the bush and just say it already. Clearly, you are confident in how true the "rumor" is and have no problem letting everyone else know what your issues are with Freeman, so why not just spill it.

Probably because when people post private things, he thinks they are sleazy. He would never do that.

I think it's pretty clear that I'm a v-hull guy but I deal in high end auto insurance 9-5. When we get a high end car involved in an accident or even a tire blow out. Before it goes on the flat bed the licence plates come off and more often than not we cover it. I don't care if there was a massive tire failure or they hit a wall drunk, we do it for all of them.

As odd as this sounds motors have fallen off. I saw it happen on a 5 hour old Everglades Bay boat....I did not get a photo because I was the one who towed it in. Here is another high end boat with an incident....

Good on Freeman for getting it in and getting it fixed. Hopefully they learned what the issue was and it doesn't happen again. If motors start falling off all of them I will lead the pitch fork mafia.
