Is that 40K PLUS the 10k or 30K plus the 10k equaling 40K. May be selling...

Whats an additional $40k when buying $450k boat...11%. Now lets say you are getting a 42'... your cost is probably more in the $500-$600k range. So it drops to 6%.

Is a 6% premium worth getting your boat 2-3 years earlier. I would have to think so for those that can afford the original boat cost.

Drop in the bucket when your going to spend that on electronics and a sound system.

I am very much still here and am quite surprised at people attacking me without any proof.

First, I did start a thread letting anyone know I am willing to pay for a build slot. Scott responded to the thread as follows:

Kevin50, doesn't really work this way. Not sure where you heard your information but I would encourage you to call the shop and speak to me directly. We are boat builders not starting some MLM scheme to scalp build slots. Our goal is to grow the company to meet the current market demands while maintaining the quality and performance we have built our reputation around.

Thanks!

-Scott

That is factually incorrect, and Scott knew and still knows that buying build slots is allowed by Freeman. He approved several, and yes I do have the paperwork, but I received those documents through an email and PM, so I will not stoop to Rod27's level and publish them here.

In response to Rod27...I thought you were a much better man than post a PM that I sent to you. Very sleazy, but I must say it is ironic that you state I am fishing when you never offered the slot to me, but only ask what I would pay. I think you were the one fishing, but you lost the bite, because I jumped ship to the Invincible.

I also find it odd that Freeman would tell you I never responded to there PM's. That again is not only unprofessional by Freeman (a claim I made in my previous post) but also a lie by Freeman (another claim I made in my last post.)

As to what I think is a defect in craftsmanship, I agree that one or two of those issues would not be a problem, but as a whole it appears Freeman has some issues. Incidentally, two Freemans were at the mechanic's shop just today when I passed.

Finally, Line X, you have the nerve to make certain allegations against me. You sir, a Freeman subcontractor, posted Freeman pictures on a Invincible thread and act like you some Saint who can degrade someone you never met. I know you ran to Freeman like a little school girl and told them about my post. You even got together with Scott to try and figure out when my Freeman build slot was due. You sir are as unprofessional as Scott.

This thread is pretty funny. Waiting for coores14 to post a "drama" meme like the old days.

Cat buyers.... bunch of pussies?

No clue why this boat debut - or 3/5 other threads turns in a Freeman homer gang bang or Freeman bash party.

Post pics of your build. I'd like to think more pics would help both the Inv cat launch and get this thread back on track.

This thread has identy issue. The OP start the thread with a question mark on the title. And then the mfg rep stepped in and bragged about their build without any details to back their claim. People asked questions about the feature and, imho, got insulted by other posters and the rep. Finally, we got some pictures but then they got deleted, along with many posts, that really make people buffered. And then, it turns into Freeman thread, mostly bashing as usual.
I would think it's time for whoever put a deposit down to start a new build thread so we can focus on the real "breakthroughs" of an invincible cat.

Kevin50, I think you should go back and read all your post. To me and apparently many others it was always very clear what camp you were in. I honestly felt your post were always disingenuous.
If I am wrong you have my apologies, sir.
I come here for the love of boats and enjoy build threads. I like competition and seeing what other boats are coming to market. My communication with Scott is often and in regarding you I asked way before your Freeman flame post. So what does that say? Either I am wrong. If I am then again you have my apology.
Or my gut tells me with your recent screen name tht sign up that you are here to pump up the release of your Cat & knock the tht Freeman love down. I say this because that is what your post tells me.

Heard from a pretty credible source that your build slot behind Rod27s wasn't exactly "end of the line" starting point. I'm sure that isn't true though right? Not sure why you seem to get so emotionally involved in these threads. Your work is great and love seeing your finished products on these boats but honestly, in my humble opinion, your better than internet form banter.

At least we are back to arguing about fishing boats instead of all that dumb crap a few years back with who has the fastest center console. That was the dumbest thread I've read on here in awhile.

Freeman created their own issue with buying and selling the build slots. Sometimes things are hyped way past to good to be true. Too much Koolaid......When money is involved good things don't always happen. As for their policy of allowing ,the selling of a build slot for profit is a bad business model.
