What style of boat? CC, express, flybridge (least likely I assume)?

I'll be the 8th to echo this! There are lots of great contributors here - he's one of the top. Straight shooter no doubt.

Default 40 ft invincible cat

I just got off the phone with invincible and they are making a 40 ft invincible cat which is 100 percent confirmed, they will have two test boats completed by end of May one with quad Yamaha 300 and one with quad 350 mercs ... I have not seen any drawings or pictures and do not know any specs yet but if I order one I am looking at delivery in early September now... I am leaving for the Dominican republic the beginning of May then off to hopetown marlin fishing till the end of May when I return I am scheduled to get a test ride , then I leave for Cape Verde islands off the coast of Africa for the blue marlin bite...I am sure that these boats will be changing our south Florida boat market...

Great news for Invincible, might even make the used Cat hull market more competitive. If Barker follows suit, they will all become more affordable.

I wish them both luck. Can Invincible put them out every 3 to 4 months ?

Seawolff you have it made !!!!!

This is great news for all boaters.....bad news for other manufacturers. Competition is great for us.

Do you think it can beat the Compmillenia 39 Cat?

Speed, economy, ride, space, storage, looks.

On paper Compmillenia looks most impressive, but they don't ever bring their boats to boat shows. Nobody ever makes videos of it running thru chop. I do realize it's a new manufacture and they are super busy atm building huge yachts. But marketing yourself properly is what will make or break your company.

I hear what you're saying, and maybe to a degree......but a very small portion IMHO.
Too many mono hull guys who aren't going to switch - not yet anyway.
Likely would impact the few custom cat competitors more than cannibalize their line.
Especially if they can gear up pace of production compared to custom guys w/ more units & shorter delivery times.

Keep hoping Nor Tech will transform one of their 40' cats into a CC line.
But also "hear" their 390 slots are up to 10 months out.....don't know that for certain??
So that, to me, only reinforces mono demand.

No doubt the cat market is growing, but currently so is the industry. I have no idea of projected cat to mono units, but ratio doesn't seemed to have changed dramatically in last few years. However sure seems to be lots of chatter re: larger cats on drawing board.

Maybe somebody in industry can enlighten us with actual numbers - I certainly don't know that info.

My prediction is in 10 years 80% of the new build custom Center console boats 36+ ft will be Cats. The monohulls will still dominate the 18-30 ft range, with a mix in the 30-36 ft range. From a ride and efficiency standpoint it just makes sense to me.

PROWLERs carolina blue 42 cat at miami this year stole the show in my opinion. i ordered one with quad 300s but i am in a fairly long line. I've had a 31 prowler since 2003 and it has been a wonderful fishing platform with no issues.
ive ridden most of the top tier V hulls and invincible definitely has the best ride so i suspect they will have a badass cat as well.
