With modern engineering and big outboards I'm excited to see what the other big name builders produce.

I am even more excited to see a nasty 40+ Higher speed/stepped cat like the freeman 42 with an elevated walk around pilot house, air ride/shock absorbing captain chair seating for 6-8, AC, huge live wells and fish boxes. Something that will keep you dry and comfortable in all conditions, cruise 50+, capable of getting 150-200 miles off shore and back in the same day comfortably. One day maybe.
With some modifications to meet your specs, but..

Here's my prediction.... and you heard it here first. INV will come out with a Cat NOT designed by MP. The cat will be bigger than Freeman's 37 but smaller than their 42. My guess, 38 or 39. He will be shooting for a boat faster than Freeman at any and all cost. If that one is popular, his next cat will be a 43', just to one up Freeman. He wants that Venice market which is owned by Freeman and the only way he'll get them to leave Freeman is to drop the price of the boat so low that he won't make any money...again, this is my opinion. MP IS designing a Cat for another manufacturer that has been named but I won't discuss that as it's theirs to unveil when they want to. It's no secret that SeaVee is doing one but I'm sure it will be more of a battle wagon than a speed demon. SeaHunter won't even go with steps so there's no way they'll do one. Remember, it wasn't that long ago that both SeaVee and Contender said they'd never do steps and look at them now.

I heard through a credible source that he purchased the legend 37 molds...

My brother was at the factory yesterday. They are building a cat and it is going to be a Michael peters design. No clue on when or size but stoked to hear they're going through with it 👍👍👍

If Invincible is building a cat. I hope it will give Freeman a run for its money because the other cats isn't. Competition is good for buyers and its good to have choices. I doubt Invincible cat will take over the Venice market. Mexican Gulf Fishing Company have the most Freeman boats in the charter fleet and I doubt they will leave Freeman.

The "Venice market" is how big compared to say the "South Florida market?" Just saying.

The Venice market actually needs the boat to perform for 100 plus miles of open ocean runs, whereas the Miami boat market is dominated by sand bar show boats. Offshore, it's tough to be more than 40 miles from protected water off Miami. Even for island hopping in the Bahamas, the need for Venice-type range and speed is limited. If you build for Venice and someone in Miami uses it, great. But if you build for Miami, it's not going to be the right rig for full-time charters in Venice. Prove it there where it's needed, and it will be usable anywhere.

Fishing Pulley Ridge out of Key West or Ft Myers is a similar run to Deep water rigs off Texas or La. 3 hrs in my 29 to Pulley Ridge same to Perdido rig off south Texas. 42 Freeman coming to KW in 2018.

I don't know who Cosgrove's source is but I'm willing to back up some of what he is saying after a couple conversations this weekend.

No, a guide at KW Yacht Harbor told me he is going to operate the boat for a West Fl based owner. Boat will be based primarily in KW.

How a business thrives with 10 boats a year is beyond me.

Default This thread is fake news until Invincible proves otherwise

I'll eat crow when someone here or Invincible Boats can substantiate this entire thread with some facts, until then it should be shelved.
