2000 pounds is a pretty big difference.

Hopefully Invincible has plenty of structural integrity and not just pretty lines.

I would have thought that trim tabs are more efficient than carrying an extra 1,200-1,500lbs of water in the pontoons?

Wasn't this confirmed on another thread that the quad boats need balance with ballasts?

That is a lot of fuel for a CC.

btw i tried to break my 37 boat crossing and then came back into that cold front we just got. Hopefully Invincible has plenty of structural integrity and not just pretty lines. I couldnt break my boat or the crows nest tower i have on it. All we broke were fishing rods. Unfricking believable. I hear the bahama bank isnt friendly with sustained east winds for 3 weeks. My mind is exhausted....body feels great.
Mine too.........I ran to the Abaco's and my crows nest is fine as well ........Dam, only weights 15 pounds from Birdsall. Couldn't break mine in 200 miles,go figure. I bent my fishing rods and didn't break a one. Back is fine and we drank some Pappy all week........ The LP's tore up the bottom fish and the Dolphin and Marlin bite was on..Any videos Rod ?

No your misinformed they don't need ballast. And 200 gallons is just ridiculous. I've owned boats in the past I've tweaked with forward ballast (sand bags) and a little weight goes a long ways. Wouldnt it be easier to confirm with manufacture instead of "confirming " on another THT thread?

From my other post yes......thanks. Or do we know someone in common? 6-8 ft seas really sucks....but we hit them at night so yea it sucked a bit more. We had 4-6" of water on the deck a few times watching the scuppers to do their thing. The yamahas never missed a beat. And for those asking, we couldnt run in that cuz they were too tight and we couldnt see them.

asymmetrical means a "split v" Like my hull. Symmetrical is like two separate miniature v hulls, like freeman, calcutta, Glacier bay, etc.

You are under estimating how much Corona is on his boat. I would say 525 gallons of fuel, 100 gallons of water, 350 gallons of beer

The Aspen posted is probably closer to a Proa than a true catamaran. One sponsons is smaller than the other and power is only on one sponson. Larry Graf (the Glacier Bay originator) is the guy behind the Aspen boats.

It is a very different platform from the cats generally popular here on THT.

The symmetrical and asymetrical descriptions above were correct though.
