Isn't this a THT rules violation? Sponsors to this site provide good money to reach a target audience. Cross-posting to vendors not on THT is a dis-service to those who fund this resource.

Didn't think about that. Valid point though.

Public links to public sites... People post to equipment all the time. Sponsorship means everyone should see your ad, not that you should be able to prevent other information. There's sponsors who sell boats, but that can't mean no one can post other boat brands, and I can think of at least two sponsors who sell outboards but lots of other outboard recommendations get posted on here.

If I posted to my own stuff, that's advertising. If I post to an Walmart sale for vhf radios, it's boating information (even if they turn out to be cd cleaners).

Agreed. Definitely a great thread idea if it sticks to the idea of GREAT deals and not just slightly discounted items. I purchased the BOGO Quantums based on this thread...below dealer cost on those.

This isn't specific to fishing/boating stuff. I have purchased some lawn furniture, Bluetooth speakers, projection clock, weather radio, shirts, jacket, jeans, etc. Some of the savings are huge. The ads will take you directly to the place that is selling whatever.

A great place to buy wifey stuff too. I bought mine some jewelry and shoes.

You mean the banner ads that fund this site? Or the viglink auto affiliate link insertion? Cause I almost guarantee those bring a it more income than the sponsors do. At any rate why should someone not be allowed to discuss deals (for any type of product) because someone else here sells that product :roll

Got my Boca 80's in yesterday and love them so much I ordered a pair of 60's today. The sale is on till the end of the month, may even grab another pair of 80's before its over. Too good a deal to pass up.

Ugly sticks (spinning 6.9 ft medium) are a deal too at $42 each including shipping. Amazon has them for $60. This thread is going to cost me a fortune!!

Edit: Free shipping, it's taken back off at checkout!!

Edit again not to derail: Got them in 3 days, $79 all in for 2, very nice.

Check out craigslist. I have gotten some sweet deals when people are emptying their storage units of you are patient and ready to move. Try not to buy the stolen stuff though.
