I bought a Milwaukee M18 blower for my dad and a $5 gold liberty yesterday. That was the first ebay bucks deal I've seen this year, I want to say. Haven't been as prevalent for me as they have in recent past. That what you've noticed?

Shimano Sedona / Fish Eagle Spinning rod half price ($70). Fresh water combo but decent price so I'll throw it out here...

Bought that one for my dad a year or 2 ago and we've used it at the farm to jump our little 4 wheeler a dozen or so times (finally, put a new battery in it and cleaned up wiring). It's been a good unit. Only issue was plastic clamp broke, but replacement was only like $13 (was outside of warranty period of a year, I think he said when he called company).

I called up west marine and had them price match the Simrad RS35 at Defender. Paying tax was a little cheaper than paying shipping, and it will be easier to return/warranty (in case of issues) for me since I have a couple of west marine stores local.

$149 Mercury Vessel View Mobile

I saw this on Facebook. I've never used it, but it seems like a good substitute for NMEA 2000 gateway.

Once they sell a certain amount, they reset to a higher price. Sometimes they only have a few at that price. Sometimes, the seller might only have 1 or 2.

When I saw the price for the first time this morning, they were priced in the $220-something range. Then, when I went to buy mine, they were already up to $242. Only a few minutes had passed.

Amazon has a dynamic pricing model. They never want to be beat on price. They have ‘bots’ crawling the web and their system will automatically match the best price they can find. Another website may be running a flash sale, made a pricing mistake, etc. Amazon matches it. Then, when they don’t see a price that low to continue to have to match, it moves up.

Amazon takes the margin hit, but if it happens a lot, they remove that item from their site since they can’t realize a profit (amazon acronym of CRAP’d out - seriously).

Oh ok so that's why they go so fast.

Thanks for the explanation
