Walmart has them for $89 through a different supplier.
Daiwa BG8000 $89.96

These are mostly amazon returns, but there are lots of them due to the holidays being over.

I am looking for a ebay coupon if anyone sees one.

I need a deal on a BG 2500 (the 3000 I have is huge). Bass pro wants 110 for the 2500 and it seems hard to find on Amazon.

I was driving on the Turnpike in Miramar and noticed a fishing supply liquidation business. Had some time and decided to stop in. I think they mostly wholesale, but the guy was nice enough and let me come in. He has a big warehouse and millions in inventory. He had the Diawa BG 2500 reels and I think the price was around $78. He had them brand new in the box and he had a bunch of them. He also had hundreds of other products including Bubba Blades, Owner Hooks, ball bearing swivels, Seaguar Fluorocarbon, rods, reels and a lot of lures and terminal tackle. I loaded up on a bunch of stuff including high quality baitwell nets at $6 — the same ones I usually pay about $15 for. He told me he specializes in buying inventory from fishing retailers and suppliers who go bankrupt. He seemed to have no problem selling me even though I just stopped in. I forgot to get the exact name of the company, but it is something like Closeout Fishing and it is right off the turnpike. I will drive by tomorrow or Tuesday and make sure I post the full name.

I will add one tip to this as well. My gf loves the "love pop" holiday/birthday cars. These things are $12-$16. I found them on aliexpress for $2-$5. I bought a couple and will report back when I get them.

Yes, I stopped by today and that is it. 11641 Interchange Circle, Miramar. Picture of a Guy Harvey Mahi on the window of the warehouse. Picked up some more Seaguar fluorocarbon this morning.

Isn't this the sort of thing people are always complaining about around here? The Chinese ripping off American intellectual property? 95% chance that's just the overseas manufacturer for "Love Pop" selling the products direct, behind their client's (or former client's) back.
