Not exactly sure what will happen if you mix manufacturers - I suspect they will place nice if on a NMEA network.

If stictly Lowrance they will network and share info on NMEA network nicely or with a separate cable that goes back to both Lowrance units. I have a hds 8 gen 1 that I will network when I get the 9. The 8 is pretty old, but all the features are there - gps, navi, waypoints, sonar...I will run Sidescan on the 9 and up/down on the 8.

I bought the 9 on Overtons for $1037. If you buy 2 you will have 18" of screen - the best I've found on a HDS gen 3 12 was $1999. I would get two 9's and have fault tolerance and additional screen.

Or go nuts and buy the radar one with a 9 and another 9 for $2500.

Can’t speak for the 80. Got my 50 yesterday. For 50 dimensions on website are overall. Width shows 27”, I get 26 ˝” at top. At the base (hard to be exact with the corners) but get 25 ˝”. For depth shows 19.2”, I get 19”. At the base about 16 ˝”. Would think the 80 would be similar. And base dimensions would be less. This is my first roto cooler so have nothing to compare to. To me looks very solid, well maid. A friend saw it this morning. He has a yeti. He was impressed. Filled with ice this morning. Will see how it last.

I'm really struggling right now to not order 1 hds9 fishfinder radar bundle and 1 hds9 total scan bundle. With the sale and the 20 percent off I can have myself a new electronics setup with two screens, radar, chirp and structurescan HD for $2600

Walmart has long sleeve performance shirts for $8.69 usually $11.96. These are actually not bad for a $9 shirt.

That's exactly what I did. It was too good to pass up.

I know the Daiwa BG gets a lot of good reviews on here. Right now you can get a 2500 for $77 on Amazon from one of their vendors, or you can get it right from Prime for $86.
