Default Attaching stuff to boat without drilling?

Ok so I just bought a brand spanking new 2017 World Cat. I want to do a couple things but not looking to drill holes in it. First off I saw photos somewhere where they used one of those shoe organizers cut to fit the inside of the door to the console to put sunscreen, bug spray, and etc in. I want to attach this to a plastic door. Seems to be made from a material like starboard but stronger to prevent warping. The texture is the same. Has anyone ever used the black 3m double sided tape? I mean heck it hold window visors on cars for years. I tried putting a cup holder on the bow of my previous boat with the 3M velcro but in the heat they just peeled right off. Also trying to come up with some storage ideas for the heads to use some of that ample space for like pool noodles, Dive flags, fenders, etc. Anyone have a head that they have done anything with that doesn't involve using screws or drills lol.

3M VHB Tape. If the two surfaces are pretty smooth (the shinier the better), this stuff will stick like crazy. It's already holding significant parts of your car together.

+1 for 3m VHB tape. Just clean the surface first.

3M VHB is great. If you really want it stuck use the 3M Automotive Adhesive Primer before the tape.
It ain't never movin'

Will the VHB stick to starboard? I didn't think anything would stick to starboard. If it does, I need to get me some of that

Lol I tried putting a picture in my signature but none of it seems to be working. But here is a picture of my new baby. I will be getting some 3M tape and give it a try and see how it goes.

May I ask why it's bottom painted in that one pic if it is new?
Is that a thing? I always assumed people only bottom painted after it was all stained up and junk.
Don't take me the wrong way. I'm not doubting you. I'm just wondering? I never had to paint my rig. But then again I'm a trailer boy. Not a slip man. Lol

Bottom paint is a special kind of paint that is "anti-fouling" so it is a preventative measure for boats that stay in the water for extended periods.

The first photo is date of purchase, the second photo with bottom paint is date of delivery. I live in the keys on a canal and the boat is in the water 24/7. If the bottom isn't painted I grow my ecosystem in about 4 days lol. The bottom paint prevents growth.

You buy a complete matching set of rods with the best possible components and hang Shimano Stella's and Talicas filled with Daiwa Samurai braid and flourocarbon top shots from them :-)

Brian Connley's got an add in the for sale section with some of his ultimate cal star blank rods that would be much sexy.

Nice boat.

Another vote for 3M VHB. I use it for all kinds of stuff around my lab/shop/boat.

I get mine through McMaster, as they have the best selection.

If youre clever you can use it to mount stuff over holes that a PO drilled and it seals the holes, get two birds stoned at once.

VHB has been my new best friend for some time.

If you actually need a bolt mount, WeldMount stuff is great. Expensive, but great.

I had 3 SeaSuckers and all failed withing three years. A little plastic piece inside that holds the seal broke. I still need to contact them to see if they can be of any help. I think I would prefer the 3M tape.
