Default 1996 Evinrude Ocean Pro 225 Flushing Port - Is this normal?

Hi members,

I am trying to determine if this is the correct operation of the flushing port and lower unit water drainage. We had this exact motor before and can't remember seeing this much water come back out of the flushing port once the hose had been disconnected. Just wondering if we have a restriction somewhere or this is normal? Also, today while on the muffs at idle, we got a temp alert warning and immediately shut the motor off. This was right after flushing the motor so not sure if these things are connected. Videos links are below.

Thanks,

Caleb

My 2001 200 does the same as well. It has always impressed me the amount of water that thing holds.
