Default Alsdorf park boat ramp

I see where you can park a truck/trailer for $10 per day. Can anyone confirm that this ramp is safe to leave a vehicle and trailer for a week while over in the Bahamas? Just wondering if its patrolled by the law and if this is in a decent area where I wouldnt have to worry.

I would have to leave the boat on the trailer the night before we cross too.

thanks

It's in a good area, but thieves usually don't steal from their own neighborhood. That said, it's a busy ramp/parking during the day and sometimes at night, but it's also possible that your truck/trailer will be the only one there at night in the middle of the week.

The sheriff's office keeps their boats right there next to ramp, but they're rarely there at night.

A week is a long time for an "unattended" truck/trailer in a public parking lot.

thanks for the info. I do have a back-up plan to store the trailer in a secure lot and dock the boat overnight at a marina.

I would have like 2 chains on each axel. a 100' chain balled up and knotted over the entire coupler, 3 strand concertina around the parking spot, claymores, sniper overwatch and grid coordinates to call for fire on my trailers position if they get through.

Well no but I already chain each axle. A week? I would look into a secured storage yard, but then again, thats no guarantee.
