Default 2015 etec 115 won't start

I have a 2015 etec 115. It has 88 hours on it. Been using for 1 year. Last weekend I was out trolling for a while then tried to give it some gas and it wouldn't go any faster. Turned around to head back to dock and it died. I changed the fuel filter and when I examined the contents of the filter it was nasty. My bad - waited too long (this was the first time I changed the filters). Lots of orange gunk and sediment. I changed the fuel filter inside the engine and when I examined that fuel it looked ok. I verified the plugs were sparking and also verified that the fuel injectors are firing because the plugs are wet after cranking. I ran the diagnostic test and am attaching the report. I see error code 77 - SAC overcurrent fault. My battery is new (no wing nuts). I hooked up the trickle charger to it for a bit then tried again without any luck. I looked at the large capacitor on the starboard side and it looks clean but I didn't remove it. It cranks fine but not firing. Any advice?

Did you index your plugs?

Remove and inspect the capacitor connections, look for any leaking oil, and shake it to determine if something is loose inside of it. Check all other red-white wires and connectors.

Not to be a jerk but - isn't a 2015 motor still under warranty?

I checked the capacitor and everything looked fine. I shook it and didn't hear/feel anything. red/white wires and connectors seem fine too.

A trickle charger is not a battery charger... they are useless... charge your battery with a serious charger... take battery to where you bought it and have it tested... they should replace it... etec needs a serious battery... check for clean solid connections... check kill switch... go with some new plugs...
ETH free gas if possible... plus seafoam... if you had a water in the gas deal, you might wanna dump your gas...
Etec 115 a cool motor... got the tiller model on my wish list...

Check fuses?? I am sure its not your problem but once on my fichth the fuse block went bad... took a lot of poking with a meter to figure it out...

Suggest you try bypassing the tank with a portable tank of very fresh new gas. And clean or replace those plugs.

Did the wet plugs smell "fresh-gassy" or weak odor?

^^^^THIS^^^^

this is the very first thing I would do, as you already know the gas is crap.....the only issue I've had with our etecs has been fuel related on our 150.
