Default Albemarle 305 Express Surge tube picture

I have received several request for pictures of the surge tube on my port motor.
I am the second owner of my 305 and from what I was told the port motor was replaced after only 10 hours from new due to water getting into the exhaust pipe and getting into the engine will drifting with the engine off.. The surge tube was added and has been perfect ever since..
I am not sure who made the surge tube but it looks to me like Albemarle either had it made or they made it themselves.. The color and materials are the same as the starboard motors exhaust pipe..

Hi,
No only on the Port motor. Apparently the port motor exhaust tube would fill with water will on the drift and sometimes send water back up into the engine. I never had that problem with the surge tube
