Default Edgewater 265 Express Opinions

I'm looking to purchase an Edgewater 265 Express with 225 yamaha 4s
Does anyone have any experience with one?

I've got a 2006 with twin yam F250s and we love it. It's extremely stable, built like a tank, has long legs since it carries 200gal of fuel, shoots out of the hole and gets on plane in seconds. It's great to fish or raft up with and the kids love heading below and relaxing when they get tired. We're a family of five and have plenty of room for family and friends. EdgeWater's customer service has been exceptional.

How long have you had it? I plan on going offshore about 15-25 miles a few times a year. It has 225hp
what do you think?

We've had it for five years. That distance shouldn't be a problem at all. The 9'6" beam really makes her stable and I've taken her about 45nm offshore before and plan on going further when we get back to northern FL. Great boat.

Thanks for your help, just waiting to hear back from the owner. Same color as yours.

I've got a 2007. Had it for one year now. Great boat! Fast, stable, efficient and roomy for its size. Seller redid the badging before listing. Going from the old stickers to the new 3D chrome "Edgewater" and "265 EX" labels really make it look newer.

I know this is an old thread but what economy do you see out of these boats?

Default Ride on rough days?

I wanted a cc but now considering something like this, what kind of ride does this get in rougher seas? It's a deepV? How many degrees? Is there room in front to hang with been bags or fluke?

Thanks

Chris
