There's already another builder making a 42' why not reset the bar at 45'?

If you can pull a 42 you can pull a 45, if "trailerability" is the concern

1st guess got it right.. Long range is the goal. Several of my customers have requested a range of 600+ miles, whether it be in the Bahamas or the Gulf.

The 42LR project has been going on for over a year and what other builders do is their business and their set of goals. Hopefully they achieve them. Only looks good for the multihull segment. I'd rather hear, "I rode on brand XYZ and loved it, but your Freeman has a layout that is better for my needs". Not, " I rode on XYZ and hated it so now I hate catamarans". To each his own, I suppose!

600 mile range?!?!?! I hate going 60-70 miles one way to get to the edge.
