Great build. You will have one heck of a boat when done. I wish I had a tenth of the skill to do something like this one.

Jorge you are like my publicist, good work! Thanks guys. I will take some up to date photos. It is a machine. Foolishly I am working on another. Stretching it out to 33. Should be finishing this one but that is my project A.D.D
I have read a couple threads of why you would do a project/ renovation and I will say one of the most gratifying things for me is the fact that there isn’t another one just like it where ever I go and it is exactly what I like . Lots of work and tweaking but it is fun! Thanks again for the interest in the project

Thanks a lot guys! Very nice of you to say that. Plenty of cheap 28s out there. There often boats available for 500- 1000. This one was 500 with the bottom already blasted off

Those are nice! For outboards I like the lines of the 28 better personally.

Someday, I will have a 28 Bert flybridge with outboards. I saw one as a young teen and have wanted one ever since.

The good thing is the hull is the cheap part. If you find a 500 boat you could do what needs to be done economically. It’s the power that cost $$. If I did a 28 and left it in the original configuration I would pull the cockpit including the engine deck out then make that 10’ area flat al the way to the cabin. It would be nice that way.

Hey Daytrip! Your 28 is amazing and your work on stretching the hull is So cool! you cant spell for shit but you are a FREAKING genius working on boats. The picture with the transom mounted on the extension looks like the open slide on a pistol. Love it man keep uus entertained.

Amazing work. I'd love to see a 33 turned into a fisharound. With all the beam it would be a spacious boat.
