Rod holders for in cabin
#1

Currently I have a 25' walk around and there is only storage for 4 rods, 2 of them being useless and they interfeer with the sink in the cabin and cannot accommodate large pole butts. I am wanting to store about 6-8 rods flush to the cabin wall, I have the space and was looking for some recommendations, my initial search has not come up with anything
or should I just take them home?

If you mount them to the wall will the screws come out the sides or is there an inter liner?
I have a cored wall in mine an could only use short screws. A heavy reel pulled mine out and now can only store light tackle in them.

seen it done this way three bungee cords space them at butt, then above reel and then towards the tip pf your shortest rod simple eye screw of each end of cord to hold claw works like charm and puts minimal pressure on screws engineering marvel

Look for a company called Du Bro. They make great modular rod storage components. I had their trac-a-rod components for storing all my internationals on the last boat. Quality stuff.

Is your boat in the salt?, if so, take them home. I used to work at fishing store in buzzards bay, MA and they repaired reels there. (Penn, abu, & another auth. repair center so lots came thru) and you could tell who kept their stuff on the boat and who didnt. Salt beats the hell out of them if you don't take them home and give them a rinse.

This is what I did.
Taco made the rod holders.

Rods don't weigh that much, especially when comparing me walking on the cabin top.
Of course, it is important to know how thick the cabin top is!

The DuBro ones are plastic, but hold up just fine. Here are some pics of what I had on the Henriques. The Internationals are Dubro setups, the spinners are on the Taco ones.
