Off the top of my head,,,,no..............Unless you have a recent repower? The boat is 15 years old now. How old are the electronics? A modern set will be 20 grand? How is the enclosure? 5 grand for a new one? Every component on the boat that is original can go at a moments notice. 130 grand is a lot of money......

Now if you have had major upgrades and the boat is pristine. then maybe 130...........

Those 435 cats aren't known for being the most reliable either. Too much h.p. for that block. The 375 version was the one everybody remembers. 3208s I assume?

Price is set by the marketplace. Check on yachtworld.com what similar Cabos are selling for. This will give you an idea on what the market is paying... Good luck and Great boat too!

I too don't think that is out of line. Last year it was between the 39sx I bought or the Cabo Express, so I knew what others were asking for the 35 Express.

Looks like your boat is currently listed for $139k. Original listing date shows it at $149 as of August 2012. Cosmetic condition has a lot to do with the sell value. Hardtop boat may be a disadvantage over a full tower boat. Cabo guys are usually fish guys and like the tower look. No transom live well is a minus, Hynautic controls and Teak & Holly a plus.

It has been listed since August 2014. Has your broker brought you any offers? Have they had any showings?

None of these boats have sold for less than $100k except for one in the Keys with 2600 hours that sold for $80k.

Your broker should be giving values not the Outboard Boat guys on this board. He should know the local market

The one in the Keys had huge probelms on survey. Keep that in mind.

Agree with Bertram42. Your broker has access to the soldboats database and can show you exactly what has sold recently. Off the top, your number does not look out of line IMHO.

Not for Cool Blue, but for others.

For fun, how is it totally "in line" yet not sold for almost a year while others have?

What will a new broker do that this one hasn't in order to sell the boat. It's on YW and THT. Seems like more than enough reach.

How can anyone really determine the price without knowing total hours?

Nothing wrong with the CAT 3208's in any HP. It was the 3116 that had the issues with the soft blocks. That was corrected with the 3126 however people still shy away.

I agree with whoever noted the lack of tower. Most of the buyers for this boat would want a tower. That said, you aren't going to just add one, so it is what it is.

I would say the very first thing your broker should do is take more pictures. Nine pictures online may have been cool 10 years ago, but not in 2015. Next step is to list the equipment the boat comes with. Saying new Furuno NavNet, KVH Sat TV, "and the list goes on" also doesn't cut it.

Put 50 pictures up online, list every piece of equipment/add on you have made, and fully list all the details of your boat (hours before Holt serviced, hours on Gen, etc) and you will sell her. Good luck.

You're in line. Been trying to sell mine (Tiara) in the same price range and LOTS of lookers but nobody even willing to lowball me. Unless you are real, willing to just dump it and give it away, you're going to be stuck with it. I'm listed on Anglersedge as well at $125 with brand new electronics, AC, TV's Canvas, isinglass, 600hr Cummins 370 and 25 kt cruise. This is a give away price to me but not give away enough for the cheap buyers out there.

I hate it for you...and me both.
