Freeman 34VH Build Thread Twin 350 Verados

Figured I'd start a build thread on my hull as well since it'll be completed in a few weeks. Anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 350s and so is everyone else. In the past I'd say I was a Yamaha fan but not to the level of some people on here. I never used to be a Mercury fan or a hater but I just feel like they are moving forward at a very rapid pace while other companies minus evinrude are stuck in idle. I heard from several people that the Yamaha booth at the Miami boat show looked like a ghost town and looked like they didn't even take their display down from last year. I'm confident in my decision on going with Verado 350s on this hull but if it doesn't perform the way the big V8s do I will be the first to own up to it. Time will tell, but I'm excited to see what these things will do on this big ass efficient hull.

Awesome. Can't wait to see how the Mercs perform.
I thought Freeman didn't rig mercs?

This thread just had to follow that comment....

Sweet sweet ride. I was aboard the 34 at MBS and it was definitely a bad ass machine..

Another dream boat being built...!

I saw you went with the Garmin reactor autopilot. What drove this decision? Everything else is self explanatory and awesome! Looks like a well planned and thought out fish killing machine!

Anywhere from jacksonville to key west. Home port is Ft pierce but will be in the bahamas and lower keys quite frequently. First real trip will either be grouper fishing out front in ft pierce or a mutton/grouper trip off key west. May 1st is coming up.

Sounds like a great setup. See no reason why the Verado wont perform on this hull. same HP - less weight. Always been a fan of the Verado since i had a set of 275s on my old boat.
