Many times I have had former or non boat owners make the statement to me re the best time is when you sell the boat, or a hole in the water to throw money etc. Happy to have them share their negative opinions at the parks or wherever they hang out now. Not much can compete with this.

Yeah, a shallow draft is a must! At least once a trip you'll see someone high and dry and waiting for the tide to come back.

To the Tampa Bay folks, I haven't ventured in to Weedon island area yet. Looks a bit shallow. Is there access for larger boats? 28+ feet?
