Default Mercury/Mariner Service Manual download, free...

If I remember, someone put up a site where you could download service/repair manuals for Mercury/Mariner. Was I dreaming? Thanks

You must have been dreaming!

Actually, the manuals used to be available at biggerhammer.net but my link directly to the manuals has ceased to work. Also, I can no longer find them at this website. I always wondered how they got an electronic copy. Looks like Mercury must have found out and made them put a stop to it.

Must have been a 'wet' dream at that. Thanks for looking.

I've never seen service manuals online for any outboard. I have seen some sites that have scanned parts catalogs for mercs, but they don't hold a candle to yamaha's online parts catalog.

Online parts catalogs and service manuals would make lots of folks happy . . . just in case anyone is listening I can't tell you how thrilled parts dealers are when you come in with a list of part numbers, so they don't have to look each part up in a book/computer.
