Default Sea Hunt Triton 202 w/ yamaha 115

2004 w/ trailer. I have not seen the boat yet but heard it was in very good shape.

Can anyone give me an idea what this boat is valued at? It has a bimini top.

Also, what is the word on them?

Thanks.

Depending upon condition I would say anywhere between 10K and 14K depending upon hours, electronics, trailer condition etc.

I have a 2004 202 and it fits my needs perfectly right now. I have a 150 2 stroke with a T-Top and she will hit 45-48 mph on a calm day with a light load.

I have a 2005 with a 140 and I agree with Gottago on the pricing. Great boat.

Default thanks

Thanks, sounds like what he is suggesting it will go for is fair if its in good shape.

Guess the next question would be, as a new buyer, should I have it looked at by a surveyor or mechanic prior to sale?

How much does that normally run? I am in southern maryland.

DO NOT BUY ANY BOAT WITHOUT SURVEY AND SEA TRIAL………just don't ask me how I know

I think that depends on the risk you are willing to take and your overall knowledge of boats.

When I bought my Shamrock I knew nothing about inboard boats and the $$ were greater than I was willing to risk so I had a survey done. When I bought my Seahunt I felt more comfortable looking the boat over myself, doing a compression test myself and the risk was not as large so I bought it without survey.

If you do not know what how to do a compression test, what a stringer is or it is in your opinion more money than you want to lose than yes get a survey. If you are buying a bay boat for a few grand and are pretty familiar with boats and can do basic tests I would roll the dice.

That sounds priced right. I have an 03 with the f115. Tops out 35 light. Pretty good boat for the money. I've gone 30 miles out and also can go shallow. No wood construction.

Couple weeks ago, Paid 20k for 2010 207 triton, 78 hours, 115yamaha, sea trial yes, car fax equivalent yes, recent service ro and spoke to technician yes (could of been his friend) and overall felt good about the seller . Tandem axel trailer, custom boat cover, porta-Potti (probably won't use it), great transom & interior lights , alpine stereo with iPod, sat hookup, garmin gps, radio.

Overall I felt good about the deal. Still haven't figured out how to upload pics from my phone.

Had her out a couple times on Fish River. Planning a lulus run this weekend, mardi gras.
Hope this helps.
