The 34 is a beautiful boat. Great combo with the 300s. Excellent finish, and amazing space between the console and the gunnels. Too bad the seas were so flat, but enjoyed the ride nevertheless. The team at Freeman are great people, and I hope to do business with them in the near future. Thanks for the sea trial!

I was coming down from the Viking service center today on I95, and saw the Freemans heading north on their trailers. While the 37 looked impressive out of the water with the quad engines, that 34 looks perfectly proportioned.

We ran the 37 with 13 people on board and NO, we weren't coming from Cuba. The boat performed like a champ. Top speed with that load and 250 gallons 69 mph. I asked Billy to stop and trim up two engines to see if the boat would plane with only twin 300's. We all went to the bow and shortly thereafter, we were running at 44 mph. I'd never been a fan of cats but this thing is in a league of it's own. You have to ride it to understand. Never landed hard, never got wet. Put all 13 people on one side and the boat could care less. Hopefully there will be one in Key West shortly keeping the fish from overpopulating.

Sucks I missed the show but looks and sounds like you guys had your best show yet. Seems to be a reoccurring thing, every year it gets better. All it takes is one ride and that's it. Heard the seahunter in water show right next to you guys had many a cricket while you guys had dozens of people crawling in and out of the boats all day long. Congrats! Glad to be apart of something special.

We were 3 of the 13 on the boat with Cosgrove for the sea trial. Let me tell you, this boat flat out performs. I have a 33' cat and know cats well, this thing is shearly amazing. Up sea, down sea, or beam sea, nothing threw it a curve ball. The seas were perfect for a sea trial (sea trial on a Freeman) as it was a little lonely out there because no one else came to play where we were doing the "throw everything at it" demo. It performed better on 2 engines with 13 people then mine does with 2 people. I love my boat but this thing is in a different league. Cosgrove, good to meet you and talk for a bit. Let's see what comes from this. Thanks Billy and Scott for making the sea trial work.

I arrived 3 hours early on Sunday for my ride, but Scott fit me in early on the 34. Sadly, for once in my life when I was hoping for rough weather, the ocean was only 1-2' so we couldn't do a seatrial in the conditions that the Freeman is so famous for. I will say that the boat is HUGE for a 34. I think we had 7 to 9 people on board, and could've easiy fit another 4. For me personally the 29 will be more than big enough, I would probably be content with 26'. The fit and finish on the boat is comparible with the best of the fishing CC's, and although some of the other Cats that were in the marina were also very nice, it is clear why the Freeman is more expensive. You get what you pay for.
As for the ride itself, the boat is so much faster then it feels, at very slow cruising speed of 30 mph, it almost feels like you can just step off the boat for a swim. The speed is so effordless, I understand now why people want to go 50plus mph on this boat, it just doesn't feel like you are moving until you look at the GPS. We attempted to find some waves in the wake of a large sport fisher, but it was almost as if the wake wasn't there at all. I turned around and looked again at the sportfisher to double check if it was really leaving a wake since it felt like we just floated over it. Not a bump or creak or anything else.
I want to thank again Scott for his help and patience answering the same stupid questions that he must've been asked a million times. I also want to thank Billy for building an incredible boat. Did not get to meet personally since he was on the 37 with another bunch of gawkers, but maybe the next time. Either way, the boat exceeded my already lofty expectations.
