Hey guys! Just wanted to touch base. Itís been a while, just been super busy and nothing new to post but I have been following. We got hit with some pretty bad red tide down here in Florida where I am at so didnít get out for about a month, then started a home renovation so itís been ANOTHER month. Iím dying to get the boat out on the water but red tide is still pretty bad and nothing I can take my family out in, so I guess I will keep waiting. Glad you guys are finding time to enjoy your boats!

Hey Kenny thanks for checkin in. That red tide kinda freaks me out. I wouldnt feel comfortable eating the seafood or fresh fish.......so that must be killing the Fla economy I would think. I hope it clears up soon....Mother Nature has been pissed lately...all kinds of natural disasters going on. Let us know when u get the ole gal back on the water.

I believe the one in my neighborhood has a newer four stroke Mercury in it. I also believe he is in the Facebook group. That means there is a minimum of three in Pinells County Florida.

Hey Ken thanks for posting the pic! That is a great looking color, I remember seeing an 18 that color as well. That boat would look a lot better if they would tighten up that saggy bimini top. Biddison boats were manufactured in Fla so I am sure they are scattered all over the place.

Yea I live only a couple miles from where the Biddison brothers lived and my boat was built. The 2200 in my neighborhood is the same color. So it must be a somewhat common color for them. They didnít make a lot of them so to see this at a pawn shop I had to slam on the brakes and pull over!

JPV! I spent Sunday in the fog trying to get better using the fish finder then figuring out how to circle back and cast to them once located. Tricky knowing that they are behind you. Any advice on that part?

Managed to locate what I think were bait balls and feeding fish. Actually caught one too which was very cool after all the work.

Another 2200 for sell. Seller is on the Facebook group. Lots of extras on this one including auto trim tabs. Zipwave, maybe? Motor has 100 hrs. In any case, just wanted to check in and share another great Biddi.

Happy New Year

Random question for the Biddison faithful; anyone know how many 1800 and/or 2200 were built? Seems like they aren’t common nor rare.

Lena! I didnít know what happened to this thread or JPV. I always heard about 500 each. Seems reasonable.

I can tell you that there are now three in the Yorktown/ Newport News area of Virginia. Two 1800ís and a 2200.

FYI - Having a t-top made for mine currently. Pics to follow when complete.

I took the boat to Lake Tarpon yesterday to make sure everything was working properly before heading offshore

Got the old girl back today with custom fabricated T-top and half tower. The multi-level deck and flip-up console that make these boats great pose a significant design challenge. I think they did a absolutely bang-up job. Sleek design, solid construction, and awesome no-lace canvas work with closeable top for full sun protection. I'm excited for the added functionality and can't wait to do some sight fishing. Looks pretty good for an old boat!

Holy cow!!!! How did I miss all this action?????????? I think THT has my wrong credit card for the Captains Club and they didnt re up me....I might not have my ships wheels or cool anchors anymore in my sig.....oh well. I am a believer in paying into this site for all the valuable info I gain from it....so i will give them the new card so they can keep this thing going.

Glad to see a few of u guys splashin Biddi's.......they all look great. I must say that is one sexy T top u have there Quin......is that a 2019 Biddison 2200? You certainly gave her an update. As for floating over fish with your finder on then going back over them for a second shot.....I suck at that too.......U have to use your GPS and your finder........so when u float over a nice mark u have to add that way point........then finding it again and again is a lot easier.

I am gearing up for a late Spring run.....I will be gettin the ole girl out of moth balls in the next week or so then hitting the power plant to see if I can catch some big boys. I just picked up a nice bait casting combo at Cabela's on sale.......I havent been a big bait caster guy in the past but am starting to make the shift. I prefer a bait caster for light tackle jigging because the balance of the rod and reel is much better for my old man wrists.....and jiggin all day.
Im not sure if I am still getting emails if u guys reply......I will check soon and see.......

Lena.....as for your question about production numbers.......dang it I forgot...but I talked directly to Mark one time and that was one of my questions........Dont quote me on this.....but 1500 comes to mind......maybe thats all models combined....not sure.

Lets get out one the water boys!!!!! Spring is here!!!!
