Default Optimax mechanic SW Florida

Does any one have a good Mercury Optimax mechanic they can recommend in the Fort Myers area. I have always used Fort Myers marine for everything, Chuck has always done what he said he was going to do and have always been happy with his service. He really does not work on Merc's anymore and I am having issues that require the computer stuff.

not sure if this helps, there is H20 marine in Sarasota .Harry Owens. He is the Merc man for this area. He's a honest guy and he won't steer or sell you down the wrong road but he's a little pricey

I have no problem paying a little more for quality service from a tech/business that knows what they/he is doing and does things right. Sarasota is a little too far to travel for service.

Try asking Joey, sundancekid, who he would recommend. He is on FL's east coast and should know someone in Ft. Myers.

It might be a little out of the way for you, but I used www.sarasotamobilemarine.com. I was storing my boat at my parents place in Sarasota over the summer and couldn't get down to take it to a mechanic so I used Sarasota Mobile Marine. He will come to your place or marina to fix your engine.

I have a 150 Optimax and he did a great job fixing it at a honest price. The owner is a good guy and I would recommend him to family and friends.
