I think they are to busy doing demo rides to sell more and don't have time to finish it.

To be fair, it must be said that making fiberglass moulds of complex pieces, often full of details is an extremely laboursome task, full of unexpected time wastes, and those people do not spare time or efforts in the pursue of their goal: the boat they wanted to have, so I presume they may be improving some parts or refining, which in the fiberglass mould world means making again ....... having said that, a bit of less absurd secretism would be welcomed by many/some ......... specially considering that very likely, some of the potential customers might come from this forum readers ...

I doubt they are giving demo rides on the boat since it is not even listed on the web site. They claimed months ago they were waiting on a part. I don't know any part that takes that long. If they were refining it they should have been honest and just said that. I think the boat is a bust the way it was made.

This isn't a build thread started by the manufacturer, so I see no reason why it should be compulsory for them to share information at all.

It's quite possible they've pulled back on completion of the new models to concentrate on a glut of orders for existing boats.

As we all love boats and fine boats such as NorTech puts out...It is best if someone has a legitimate question vs speculation call Terry Sobo...this way you get it from the horses mouth.

And it didn't even show up once again at the boat show this week. Sounds like a bunch of crap, one time its waiting on parts that was a year ago, then they said doing final touches. These were all reason why it was not showing up at the shows. Not this it, it off shore fishing somewhere .. funny. But once again NO BOAT.

Exactly!!! However I will ask Propbender to update y'all when he gets back from show.

Right now the highest demand in their CC offerings are for 340, 390 & 450 series, not 392 or 452. So it stands to reason you produce/concentrate on what's in demand.

If you are so interested, call Bent marine, they own 452-1. I'm sure after you are qualified they can arrange a ride.

For whatever reason they have chosen to stay on the down low and focus on the details of the boat. Knowing what they are working on, I'm glad they are taking their time and not just sticking on a bunch of existing parts to get it to market.

450 and 452 share parts. Molds had to be made first and they decided to work on 450-01 completion first because that boat is rigged in their facility in Ft Myers. Easier to modify and adjust their first pieces on a boat they had in house.

Take a breath, it is coming very soon but rather then push 452-01 and rush it and possibly get something wrong they decided to hold off and just bring 450-01.

Been by their booth and asked? Possibly a little more effort "doing research" on your part will yield answers to the timetable, as well as any other pertinent questions you may have.

There is a lot that goes into the Superfish models. They are much heavier, use 3 piece hulls, etc. and in the 392 weighs a lot more than the 390. The 450 is more mainstream.

They are trying to keep secret the very many breakthoroughs items the boat has, so secretly that not even potential customers in THT can know about them
