Cheapened down Ranger bay model so they can compete on price. Not saying it's not a good boat or a good value at the price point, but it's not the higher end product that Ranger made a name for itself with in the bay boat market. I believe they purchased the molds from another builder that went under.

It's Rangers stripped down model. It's built off the old Champion Bay Champ molds, which is a fantastic hull. I looked at one, as well as took a ride when I bought my Blackjack. It's rides great, but overpriced in my opinion for what you get. I think your paying more for the Ranger name than the boat. It just wasn't finished very well for the price.
