Question Is Contender making a 22 footer?

I thought I read somewhere that Contender was doing away with the 21cc for a redesigned 22??

I believe a 24 is now as small as they make.

Cool

Seems like the largest audience/highest volume market is the 22-24ft range w/seating these days...and the mfgrs are responding

Haha, I know, which is killing me because I'll be in the market this year and don't want forward seating.

Wish Contender would stay true the open/flat fishing cockpit look.
Personally I cannot stand forward seating but I understand it is a $ issue and a business must change.
Leave the lounge seating with tables and drink holders to the family fishing boat builders.
I would never buy another boat with seating everywhere ( one was enough) but maybe I am in the minority.
To me nothing better than being able to fight a dolphin, tarpon or kingfish and not having to worry about a raised deck or bench seat.

Nothing more awkward than trying to fight a fish and get leverage around front seating.

100% agree...it's the front cooler seat or bean bags in my
boat (which are more comfortable anyway).

I really like how BLuewater has the fold down seating in the front.

Contender posted a pic today of Hull #1 of the 22 Sport fresh out of the mold.

Hull #1 was sold at auction at the Miami Dolphins Fishing Tourney about 4 months ago. For a steal!

Interesting comment. What have you seen so far that you're not impressed with?

You obviously have never been on the boat with BlueRudy. Awkward is merely a point of origin on most days.

I don't think they finished it yet.
