Not all engines by a long way - but it's pretty much spot on for the only engine listed which I can vouch for - 90 Etec.

I saw this the other day. The issue is the hull design will have a great effect on the fuel economy.

It seems a little high for low RPM operation of the F70. I am guessing this was on a monohull that was plowing from 1500 to 2500

I burned ~400 gallons of gas for this run time (plus/minis the accuracy of the gas gauge on the current amount to fuel)

Engine speed Time[h]
- 1000 r/min 30.4
1000 - 2000 r/min 198.6
2000 - 3000 r/min 22.4
3000 - 4000 r/min 38.2
4000 - 5000 r/min 15
5000 - 6000 r/min 0.3
6000 - 7000 r/min 0

i was assuming it was static consumption. no boat or anything, just rigged in a pool or with muffs.
