I love whalers but that seems a bit over the top to me.

You'd want to cry if you landed a fish on that.

Stunning job.

I have seen a thread on this build before, I believe they put a pad on the bottom too.

Still, I think they missed the mark with the rigging. Needs a tube something..

What am I missing here?

Immaculate restoration of the hull, wood and engine - awesome!

Rigging looks like a rats nest, Stevie Wonder would have done a better job. I don't get it.

That's James Thomas's boat. He spent quite a bit more than $30k on it. It's for sale.

Great boat.

Looks a lot like a Contender!

Only built better!

Beautiful boat. Unfortunately now that it's for sale, it's a bit overpriced for the neighborhood.

It's not an OptiMax and after being professionally "built" I suspect it puts out quite a bit more than 90 HP.

Man, I'd be pissed after paying north of 30k for a 15' Whaler that's rigging looks like C3PO stuck in the wires in star wars..

13 foot Whalers have no place to run steering or throttle cables. A big giant white rigging tube would look no better.
