Default advice on a 98 key west 2020 Cc

As some of you know, I'm looking for my first (big to me) boat for some light to medium offshore use (10 miles at most). Inshore/bay use will be the majority of my fishing.

The intended purpose will be 80% fishing, 20% cruising/sandbar fun.

My only concern(s) with this particular boat...

1. I have a small 95 tacoma v6 4x4, will I be able to pull it?

2. This is a 98 hull, should I run away?

3.I am sacrificing the ability to use a trolling motor on this hull for inshore bay fishing (working grass beds, etc. with top water.)

anyone with this year boat or experience give me advice?

The boat is probably a 9 out of 10 as for clean and spot free

it has 2 gps(s), one supposedly good.

has aluminum trailer.

has a 2006 mercury 150 optimax

only thing that doesnt work is the saltwater flush/wash down hose. Pump just went out, $150 fix.

You should have no problem towing, I would just check over motor, electrical connections on boat for corrosion, get a visual on fuel tank for corrosion, things like that. Check fuel lines for dry rot. Things like that. She probably still has plenty of life left.

Thanks brad!

He did say all fuel lines were just replaced, but I will surely check the tank as well. I will also have to verify wiring, I kind of forgot that!

Cool, anyone else please add to it! good, the bad, the ugly.

thanks
