Surprised how? You think they'll be as fast as the Yams? 'what's your experience

My thought was based on the weight difference only and the effect it will have on the tunnel lift at wot. My experience is limited to having recently repowered to 350v and being very surprised by their performance. I don't think the difference between them will be enough to matter either way. I guess we will see soon.

Headed down to OBA next week for tournament season, glad to see things are turning on. Congrats on the great catch!

What did you repower? What are the details on the numbers?

Here's a pic Bill sent me today. Keith's boat looks awesome. I'll go post it on his build thread for him since he's a slacker

They are standard now. Whether you get black or white, the gray/silver parts are the same.

Pretty awesome to have twins on a 42' with numbers expected to be close to most 36'ers with the same engines.

What's the projected numbers with Merc 350's? That's a ton of boat to push. The numbers should be interesting.

Mid-high 50s wot is my guess. Mid 50s is totally fine for me provided it had the power to carry the load and push through waves. That's what I'm worried about with the verados. The people that actually have them on big boats say they do really well with the load, the people who don't say they're too weak. Much like the Yamaha--those without them are much more bothered by the flywheel issue than those that actually run them.

It's ready to run, they're just waiting on a steering hose that was ordered. As soon as it arrives they can drop it in and then we will know for sure.

I wanted black motors. There's nothing "cheap" about this boat !! I did go with one
15" Garmin instead of 3.... So I guess i did get "cheap" for now.
